The Making of “Love Scene”
After supporting indie hip-hop group SNRG for years, I was ecstatic when the group’s rappers, Beau and Aaron Canlas, called me a few weeks ago to talk about working on a new music video with their singer, Kat Alano. As soon as the brothers arrived in Manila from Virginia in January, I introduced them to photographer Dix Perez, who put together a team of brilliant names from the fashion, publishing, and production industry.
The result: a music video production of SNRG’s latest R&B track, “Love Scene,” shot on February 7th at Club M in City State Tower Hotel, Manila. A sexy video inspired by Hollywood’s hot club mash-ups and R&B videos, “Love Scene” is Dix Perez’s foray into the world of music video production.
The official music video will be launched before the end of February, so keep your eyes glued to your local music video channels and SNRG’s website. Also subscribe to my blog for updates.
