Phantom in Manila: Backstage Access

My extensive coverage of Phantom of the Opera’s run in Manila is one of my highlights of the year. I was at the press launch on Aug. 13 in Diamond Hotel, the technical dress rehearsal on Aug. 24, the press preview on Aug. 28, Gala Night on Aug. 30, the Sept. 13 show with my family, and the exclusive backstage tour on Sept. 14.

My articles have been published on Spot.ph and here in my blog, but with so many photos left in my hard drive, I realized it would be a waste not to share them with the hundreds of fans who can’t get enough of Phantom.

I’d like to give special thanks to my intern and fellow theater geek, Zai Boongaling, who served as my photographer during those Phantom encounters, and to Concertus Manila, the PR team behind Phantom in Manila.

If you haven’t booked tickets yet, the season has been extended to Oct. 14. Venue is at the CCP Main Theater, Cultural Center of the Philippines, Roxas Blvd. Pasay City. Tickets are available via Ticketworld. Ticket prices: P7,280, P6,032, P4,680, P3,640, P2,340, and P1,820. Bundle and student discounts are available. Dress code: formal for Gala Night, smart casual to semi-formal for all the other shows.
