After days of torrential rains and freezing weather in New York City, the sun finally came out to say hello to spring. Exhibit A: Some bikini-clad humans of New York were unabashedly sunbathing at South Street Seaport.
As for me, I had been suffering from the flu for days, and jetlag was finally taking its toll on my tired body. I had not done a full session of Yoga in over a week and my soul was craving for it.
My cousin RJ, a native of Pomona, drove me around Downtown Manhattan one May afternoon. “Yoga anywhere!” I said as RJ snapped away, humoring this excited little tourist. I quickly explained to him my ongoing #YogaAnywhere project, which aims to bring awareness to the practice by posing in front of tourist spots.
Pardon the unpolished poses, dear readers and fellow yoginis. I was still suffering from the flu while making the most of my last few days in New York City.
