Cali Beach-Inspired Nail Polish? Yes, Please!
The thing about bringing American fashion and beauty brands to Asia is that we have to adapt to their season. But I don’t mind, especially since the weather in Manila is always a mix of wet and dry every month of the year. Joining the influx of summer trends from the U.S. is Orly.
Their new Pacific Coast Highway Summer Collection is inspired by Los Angeles’ coastlines—from the seaside cliffs to the tiny beach towns that pop up every few miles.
The collection comes in six neon colors with names that will make you want to crank up your Spotify vacation playlist—Road Trippin’ (yellow), Summer Sunset (orange), Put The Top Down (light pink), Scenic Route (purple), Life’s A Beach (red), and Paradise Cove (dark pink).
A number of beauty enthusiasts and I were among the first to test Orly’s new collection at Nailaholics in Gateway Mall last week. They transformed the nail salon into a surfer girl getaway, where we were treated to mani-pedis, a vegetarian feast, and photo sessions with Instax.
Time to practice my nail art!
The PCH collection is available at ₱385 per bottle. Orly is available at all PUREBEAUTY stores, select Watsons and SM Stores, Landmark TriNoma and Makati, select Robinsons and Gaisano Department Stores, and PCX outlets. For international stores, visit orlybeauty.com.
