I first blogged about Makati Medical Center’s hair donation program back in 2016. Since then, I’ve been getting a lot of queries. Good news, people! We have a 2019 update.
Hair donation programs like Locks of Love are common in countries like the United States and Canada, but not in the Philippines. There are only a few groups here that organize hair donation programs, and not as often as we’d like.
Sadly, my curls aren’t qualified for donation, but I’d like to spread the word to other interested individuals.
