Not to be confused with Kuppa Tea & Coffee Traders Co. in Thailand, Kuppa Coffee & Tea is one of the best coffee shops in Bacolod, Philippines. There’s a small Kuppa branch in SM City Bacolod, but I suggest you head to the main branch in Tindalo Avenue for a bigger and better experience.
The two-floor location serves more than just an extensive menu of tea and coffee concoctions. You’ll also find a good selection of Italian sodas, pasta, sandwiches, and desserts. They even have a salad bar and a gelato corner, which is a hit among kids and families.
Kuppa was our last stop before flying back to Manila, so we spent the whole afternoon there indulging in all things sugary, frothy, and savory. Like most food establishments in Bacolod, the bill came out more affordable than our usual Manila exploits.
As we headed out, I noticed a sign announcing that Kuppa will open a branch in Fort Bonifacio soon. But my friend Jayvee of abuggedlife.com told me that it already opened in Bonifacio Global City early this year. I’m heading there soon, and I sure hope it measures up to its Bacolod version.
