It won’t be long before 2016 bids adieu. For compulsive “journalers” such as myself, that’s enough reason to start mapping out 2017 by picking a new planner. There’s a mountain of choices out there, from online shops to your favorite bookstores. To help you narrow down your choices, pick a keyword that best describes your personality and life goals. In my case, the operative word is: traveler. Here are 10 to choose from.
1. Navi: Your Life Navigator, ₱598
This has been my planner of choice for the last two years, but I prefer customizing the pages on my own. I would cover up the featured destinations with my own scrapbook of travel inspiration, and I replaced the pre-chosen “things to do” list with my own.

• Measurements: 8 x 5.75 x .5in
• Hardbound cover
• Etched world map on the cover design
• Travel tips
• Worksheets such as bucket list, pre-trip checklist, and goals list

3. Moleskine Classic Planner, starts at ₱1,025 (small)
I wonder if the descendants of Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, and Ernest Hemingway know that they are Moleskine’s unofficial endorsers. This notebook brand markets these legendary artists and thinkers as loyal users of their pocket-sized travel journals for their sketches, notes, stories, and ideas before they became famous. But I’m gullible. I used these planners as my travel companion for several years, and I’m thinking of going back to my weekly Moleskin.
