Meralco Theater’s Christmas Village Is Absolutely Free

By now, your budget is probably depleting from all the Christmas shopping. If you’re too broke to spend on amusement parks, Christmas plays, and out-of-town holiday adventures, there are free Christmas lights shows around Metro Manila.

Topping my list this year is Meralco Theater’s Christmas Village in Pasig. They created miniature versions of global tourist attractions such as Paris’ Eiffel Tower, Sydney’s Opera House, and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. Just walk around Liwanag Park and enter the interactive installments.

Not free: shopping from the bazaars, eating at the outdoor food stalls, and getting tickets to Meralco Theater’s plays. Have you been to this spot, dear readers? Share your blog posts or Instagram links in the comments section below.
