If you’ve been following my blog for the last few years, you’ll know that I love all things quirky, Snoopy, and Hello Kitty. Ask any obsessed Hello Kitty fan: Put the face of that iconic cat (or is she not?) on any merch and it’s guaranteed to spike up the sales.
Here’s one new collection that immediately caught my perfectly lined cat eye when I went shopping at Watsons—Softex Hello Kitty Pads. It’s a range of pantyliners and sanitary napkins in different sizes.
I tested the products this month. My verdict: It works just like your favorite sanitary pads—only slimmer and cuter. They’re all hypoallergenic and ISO certified. More than just the outer Hello Kitty packaging, there’s a touch of Sanrio on every variant, including an embossed ribbon on the cotton pads. I almost did not want to use up my supply. I kept the Hello Kitty carton boxes and reused them as containers.
