Navi Planner, ₱598

Discover the Magic of Dreams and Win a Navi 2019 Planner

Did you know that 7 out of 10 Filipino teenagers don’t have a dream? In an independent study conducted by Dream Project PH, they asked 614 Filipino teenagers from every socioeconomic class across the Philippines, “Do you have a dream in life?” For those who answered no, their main reason is discouraging words from others. Secondary reasons are lack of self-esteem, lack of passion, lack of opportunity, and lastly, poverty.

Viviamo! Inc., the company behind Belle de Jour Power Planner, reinforces the importance of having a dream with their new campaign, “Magic of Dreams.” BDJ collaborated with successful Filipinas and produced a series of videos to inspire the younger generation to talk about their dreams and fulfill their passions. Here’s one from Ginger Arboleda:

As a mental health advocate, I support this campaign by BDJ. Whatever your age or background, there are several underlying reasons that can discourage us from fulfilling our dreams. Are the holidays making you feel extra blue? While there is no one-size-fits-all approach to our problems, it helps to have a supportive and inspiring community.

As we bid adieu to 2018, I’m launching a New Year giveaway. I’m raffling off a Navi 2019 travel planner and a self-care sticker kit to one loyal reader of Kate Was Here or a member of the mental health community. I hope that this planner will jump-start your travel plans and inspire you to keep dreaming. I have personally been using the Navi planner for the last 5 years.

Winner gets one Navi Planner, ₱598, plus a self-care sticker kit (not pictured) worth ₱250. Props used in this flat lay (like the camera) are not included in the prize pot.

  1. Congratulations, Carla! You won the raffle. Please expect an email from me soon. To all the girls who joined, I loved reading your answers. Thanks for your support. Cheers to bigger dreams and more travels this 2019!

  2. The story that inspired me most is that of Ginger Arboleda. Like her, I come from a traditional family. It wasn’t expected of me to have a freelancing job. I find her talk motivating because indeed I have to start even if it “means just taking one step forward”.

I am very fortunate to belong to 3 out of 10 Filipinos who have a dream. One of my many dreams is work that will allow me to have leisure travel around the Philippines and the world. I hope to win the BDJ Navi Journal which can serve as my aid and companion in pursuing my dream.

  3. I chose the inspiring story of Blu Pingoy. She’s brave enough to prove her dreams.
Been through thougness and hardship these days. There’s so many discouragement, heavy pressure that even made me weak for sometime. But after watching Blu’s story I feel motivated to choose my own path and pursue my dream to this coming new year. My dream is to delay what my parents want for me( to get marry with someone they want, soon😞) and will make to pass my exams and work in U.K. so I could solo travel in some part of the world ( want to experience it).

  4. Hi, Kate! I thought I was just here to try to win the Navi Planner (I still am). However, it was a great thing that you lead me to the “Magic of Dreams” videos. The one that inspired me the most was Ms. Chen’s dream. What she wanted was to be a teacher to help students, now she’s helping her employees and family. Even if your dream leads you to a different path, still keep dreaming, set realistic goals.
