Muchos, Boracay’s New Latin American Resto

The Philippines’ most famous white-sand island is back to regular programming. The establishments that survived Boracay’s 2018 closure and the pandemic’s zigzagging travel rules are now operating at high capacity—with some pandemic restrictions still in place. Another sign of Boracay’s thriving tourism is the opening of new businesses.

Muchos is located on the ground floor of Zuzuni Hotel, Station 1. It’s between G-Shop Convenience Store and Real Maris.

Boracay-based couple and business partners, Shria and Patrick Florencio welcomed me to their new restaurant, Muchos.

One of the newest restaurants to dot White Beach is Muchos. Run by Boracay-based couple Shria and Patrick Florencio, Muchos serves Latin American dishes at the beachfront of Station 1. If you’re familiar with the Florencios’ other hip restos—Nonie’s in Station X and the newly relocated Little Taj in D’Mall, then you can expect a menu that caters to all types of eaters, from vegetarian to carnivore.

They have breakfast all day, main dishes that can be shared, tacos and snacks that fill up as much as the entrées, skewers, ceviches, and a drink list that features a variety of tequilas and cocktails. Keep an eye out for their happy hour deals!

Ceviche classico, ₱380. The catch of the day is cured in lime, red onion, cilantro, and fiery yellow habanero pepper dressing.
