Get Up to 75% Off At The Philippines’ Biggest Hotel Sale

The Philippines’ biggest tourism sale is back! The September Online Sale (SOS) was launched in 2020 to help resuscitate the local tourism industry that was badly hit by the pandemic. Organized by the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA), this online travel mart lets you choose from an array of travel vouchers, such as hotel room stays, spa packages, group tours, recreational activities, and food deals for up to 75% off.

Last year’s SOS sold over 5,100 vouchers or equivalent to P29.2 million in gross sales.

Participating Locations and Hotels

The sale will be available from September 1-30, 2022 at their website, hsma.org.ph/sos.

Participating locations include Manila, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City, Makati, BGC, Alabang, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Tagaytay, Bataan, Clark, Ilocos, Baguio, Boracay, Iloilo, Cebu, Bohol, Palawan, and Davao. A total of 78 hotels and resorts will be participating.

The discounted packages will be sold in the form of e-vouchers. The best part: All purchased vouchers have no expiration date! You may pay through secured online payment platforms, including Maya.

Good news for those planning corporate events, weddings, or birthday parties: The sale includes discount deals for conference packages and banquet occasions.

The package details won’t be published on the HSMA website until the stroke of midnight on September 1, 2022, but I got dibs, courtesy of MG Asia PR. Click here to view the list of the participating hotels and resorts. See if your bucket-list hotels are part of the sale.

This year’s theme is “Eat. Stay. Love,” a nod to Elizabeth Gilbert’s book-turned-film on wanderlust and self-discovery. The September Online Sale is made possible by HSMA’s event partners: The Department of Tourism, the Tourism Promotions Board, Atlantis, and Media Meter.
