Time to lock in those vacation dates. The Philippines’ biggest online travel sale is back! For 2025, the September Online Sale (SOS) offers up to 80% off on accommodations, restaurants, and leisure activities from 90 participating hotels and resorts around the Philippines.

Now on its 6th year, SOS was launched in 2020 by the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA) to help resuscitate the local tourism industry that was badly hit by the pandemic.

Supported by the Department of Tourism, this year’s SOS/ online travel fair runs from September 1-30 and lets you choose from an array of travel vouchers for stays, tours, and activities valid until 2027.

Last year, 5,552 vouchers were sold. This year, they’ve expanded the packages to include more curated stays and activities, such as pet-friendly, business, wellness, and halal. Participating HSMA locations include Alabang, BGC, Boracay, Cebu, Iloilo, Makati, Manila, Rizal, Palawan, Davao, Bicol, Pasay, Paranaque, North Luzon, and South Luzon.

What I love best about the September Online Sale is that it doesn’t follow the traditional travel fair format where you have to go to a stressful, packed event in person at the malls or convention halls. Everything is easy to book online.

To purchase a voucher, just visit their website, https://hsma.org.ph/sos” target=”_blank”>hsma.org.ph/sos, click on the location and hotel of your choice, and choose from the discounted travel vouchers offered. Fill in the details and proceed to the payment page. Payment options are G-Cash, Maya, Grab Pay, and credit card. After each transaction, check your email for your voucher.
