The BDJ Power Planner 2026 Unveils a New Look and New Name

After 20 years, the BDJ Power Planner is embracing reinvention.

At the recent launch of the 2026 BDJ Power Planner, I noticed two key changes. First, the main planner cover—which for the past 20 years featured Bella, a stylish and often pink-garbed character representing BDJ’s community of planner girls—is now etched with minimalist doodle portraits. The new characters have diverse looks and hairstyles.

Second, BDJ no longer means Belle De Jour. BDJ now stands for Big Dreams Journey, a bittersweet yet welcome change for longtime fans of the brand.

According Darlyn Ty-Nilo, founder of BDJ and CEO of Viviamo Inc., “We’re expanding what we’ve always stood for. For 20 years, the planner has been our foundation. Now, we’re building on that legacy by offering more tools, more experiences, and more ways to help people live their dreams.”

Twenty planners (from 2007-2026) were on display at the launch of the 2026 BDJ Power Planner at The Astbury in Makati. Which one/s did you own?

Big Dreams Journey now focuses on three pillars: tools, workshops, and community. Their three main tools or products are the Vision Board Kit, Dreampowerment Journals, and of course, the BDJ Power Planner.

My BDJ Story

Darlyn was my officemate in Summit Media back in 2005, a year before we both decided to quit our jobs to pursue our own dreams. I wanted to be a multi-hyphenate and digital nomad back when they weren’t part of modern vernacular yet. Dar wanted to create her own planner because she couldn’t find one that suited her style and needs.

In 2006, the first Belle De Jour Power Planner was introduced under Viviamo Inc. It sparked a community of women with the same goals emulated by the pages of the planner. In 2007, Dar asked me to join her pool of freelancers who worked on the BDJ website and other projects.

From 2013-2017, I worked as the editor of BDJ Box, a monthly beauty subscription box and beauty tutorial website. I also copyedited the 2013 BDJ Planner. My sister Karen became a full-pledged BDJ girl who loved using the BDJ Power Planner to run her small business, while I switched to Viviamo’s travel-themed planner, the Navi.

I also hoarded Viviamo’s Crazy About Paper products—notebooks, washi tapes, stamps, and other cute stationery that fueled my love for scrapbooking and the analog life.

Sadly, both the Navi Planner and Crazy About Paper shop were discontinued two years ago, along with BDJ’s other planner variations, such as Focus, Everything is Possible, Essentials, and BDJ Petit.

Through the years, I’ve attended countless BDJ events with BDJ girls, many of whom were in college when they got their first BDJ planner, and are now building families and careers of their own—still with a planner in tow.

BDJ continues to organize community experiences, such as Spark Sessions, Dreampowerment Challenges, and Dreamers in Action.

“If the first 20 years were about empowering people to plan their dreams,” Dar said, “the next phase is about supporting them in truly living [them].”

Sneak Peek: Inside the 2026 BDJ Power Planner

While the 2026 BDJ Power Planner has a different cover look, if you flip through the pages, you’ll still see the familiar vibe that BDJ fans have loved for years.

You’ll find BDJ’s signature vertical weekly pages, monthly calendars, monthly inspirational art, spaces for tasks and goals, vision boards, inspirational quotes, a menstrual tracker, and fun worksheets to inspire you to fulfill your goals and follow your dreams.

A second, more flexible version of the 2026 BDJ Planner features dateless weekly pages and a minimalist cover sans the faces.

Both hardcover versions come with a free Aumni Pages Journal and the popular “Perks of a Bella” coupon booklet filled with discounts and freebies from cafes, restaurants, and shops. There are two pockets for your keepsakes. The cover can be customized with your name for an extra ₱50. The final price of the individual planner is not yet available.

Where to Buy The BDJ 2026 Power Planner

The 2026 planners will be available for individual retail sale soon, but for fans who want to get their hands on them early, you may purchase the pre-selling bundles that give you the best of BDJ’s 2026 collection—including the coveted planner—for a deal.

At the launch of the 2026 BDJ Power Planner in The Astbury, Makati, the OG Bellas (those who have been part of the BDJ community since its early years) were in full support of BDJ’s new endeavors.

Beyond the Planner

“Every season of BDJ brought us closer to what we were truly meant to be: not just a planner brand, but a movement,” Dar adds. “This 20th year marks an expansion and a reaffirmation of our mission to support dreamers in even more powerful ways.”

“Our North Star is no longer just putting out a planner year on year,” Dar said. “We’re in the business of supporting dreams and taking action and steps towards them. That’s the legacy we want to carry forward.”
